Monoscope

Description

Eyes like cathode ray tubes.
Experience our surrounding world through the vision of the monoscope.

Analogus extensio requiei.
An authentic form of abstract art, perhaps the only non-chaotic one in nature, not composed but ordered, stimulating in the observer the reduction of reality, which thus appears minimal. There are no images like this that have had the same symbolic meaning, a real totem for several generations, an object of worship.

An eye inside the eye.
For deconstructing an even more minimal reality, maybe an amplified one. Different sectors, mechanical levels, as mechanical as sight functionality can be. Elusive and restless, flat and bright, colors and the absence of them. In the end it could only be the eternal, impercectible hum of the engine. A silence now droning, now shedding light.

Contrast.
Ratio or difference between the highest or brightest point, and the lowest or darkest point, of the brightness in any image. Increasing this difference values, the brightest tend to the maximum value and the darkest values tend to the minimum value. Intermediate values do not change. Many important attitudes blend, the subject is in a state of balance, and if you are in contrast it is said that the subject is in a state of imbalance. People tend to maintain the state of equilibrium between their attitudes and, for the inconvenience caused by the lack of it, are willing to change ideas and feelings to achieve it. Remove the middle gray tonalities.

Brightness.
Interpreted as psychological concept related to the perception of light emitted or reflected from an object. An individual may produce different perceptions of brightness depending on the context. Each color conveys a mood and influences our lives more than we realize. While the chemical studies the pigmentation and the composition of the color, the physics studies the brightness and light. Perception gives the visual sensation and is composed of many neurophysiological elements. Studying psychology instead the personal feeling, the pleasure that gives the color is different in each of us.

Saturation.
Intensity of a specific hue. A highly saturated hue has a vivid color and shrill. With decreasing saturation, color becomes weaker and tends to gray. If the saturation is completely deleted, the color turns to a shade of gray. A phenomenon by which an activity in which we are committed to a certain time becomes more and more difficult, until we reach the state of not being able to anymore. This state of emotional aversion to continuously repeated action in a context unchanged and durable, becoming energized. It spreads to the actions side, generating a positive value for acts contrary to the task to which it is perceived.

Tuning.
Operation that allows to select, among all the signals admissible, only a desired signal, eliminating as much as possible unwanted signals and noise. It is obtained by a special circuit, which is normally adjustable to allow to switch from one channel to another. To adjust the tuning circuit is used to tune the verb. in this case the form of agreements, convergence between two or more parties, on the interactional and relational achievable even without agreement on the contents. The quality of the line corresponds with the opportunity to receive the desired channel, eliminating any interference and noise.

Check the quality of transmission of your past.
Try to adjust contrasts, the brightnesses, the saturations and tunings in order to get a correct reception by our consciousness. Reject the ill-famed sense of desolation deriving from the incarnation of the off-signal, which delivers in the tv-imaginary the end of transmissions. The fixed sound of the oscillator has an excellent analog: a flatliner electrocardiogram. Definitely out of broadcasting.
